Smoky Krown
ELEVATOR HUNGER
Originaltext
Doors shut. Air turns thin.
Floors blink - teeth in tin.
Elevator hunger.
Up to fear, down under.
Steel box, city stomach wall.
Digest me - slow - no call.
Button lights, predator eyes.
Cameras sip my every angle.
I stay stone, don't let 'em handle.
Bass kicks bolts inside my spine.
I pick locks, I cross the line.
Voices leak through painted seams.
All that talk is broken dreams.
I count breaths, I count control.
City wants my pulse in full.
I don't beg, I don't confess.
Silence on me - bulletproof vest.
If it opens, I move first.
If it stalls, I make it worse.
Chime goes high, then falls in pitch.
Like a throat about to switch.
Elevator hunger.
Up to fear, down under.
Steel box, city stomach wall.
Digest me - slow - no call.
Button lights, predator eyes.
No exit - just alibis.
Doors open. I step out clean.
Hallway still… a spleen.
